I recently had the pleasure of photographing Bryn and her lovely mother (her dad’s lovely too, by the way- he just wasn’t glowing quite as much) when she was pregnant with this little guy. So, I was really excited to go over to their place to get some of the first photos of him. That’s one good looking baby, wouldn’t you say?

I love this one! It looks like he’s sending out a big hello to all of his fans. Yo!

Baby Will slept through most of this session and made it easy to get gorgeous photos of his sleepy peaceful little face. I love that we got that little smile out of him for a few photos- there’s nothing like a baby’s first smiles to make a mom melt.

Look at Jake’s happy face! I could take credit for that, but this time, Jake was smiling at Noelle and Lele, the boys’ unofficial aunts and their mom’s close friend. Noelle and Lele came along to give a helping hand at the photo shoot, and for once in my life, I didn’t even have to bark or act like a monkey to see those smiles (it may sound crazy, but babies love the Lady Animal routine).

Jake is absolutely in love with Noelle and Lele, so it’s easy to see why so many parents trust them for help and advice with their children. Noelle and Lele are the founders of Symbio, which offers services geared to meet the real-life needs of modern families as they move through the early years of child rearing.

I just loved this maternity session with Jennifer and her husband, Brian. Jennifer was completely relaxed in front of the camera and extremely easy to work with. It was really fun to be able to capture her in all her glowy excited pre-baby glory.

After the great studio shoot, I was really excited to meet them at their place for their newborn photos of Samuel. Isn’t he a gorgeous child? He was completely awake and alert for most of the photo shoot, but after a good long feeding he went into a milk coma just long enough for us to get these super cute photos of him passed out.

I absolutely love doing newborn photos- they change so fast within the first few months that they barely look like the same child as they did those first few weeks. It’s great to be able to be a part of capturing that very fleeting time of them being so tiny and new.
