Stella and her parents just moved to the Bay Area a few weeks ago, so it was great to be able to introduce them to one of my all time favorite photo spots.  China Camp Village has the perfect mix of old fishing boats, bright blue skies (on a good day anyway) and relatively warm water for little toes.  There’s always a new place to explore and I’m a big fan of outdoor locations that help me get a great variety of images while keeping the kiddos happy and entertained.  Little Miss Stella had a great time hanging out and playing in the water!

Eliza and Vivi’s mom never fails to disappoint when it comes to costumes.  Some of my favorite photos of Eliza from a couple of years ago involved an unbelievably cute lion costume on an already super cute kid.  I love this photo of Eliza on the beach in her wings.

Look at that boy grow! Brady is another one of those babies turned children that make me realize how insanely fast children grow….

It’s amazing how fast babies grow, isn’t it? As I was working on these photos of Brady, I kept thinking about those first photos I took of him when he was just a few weeks old.  He was so sweet and tiny and sleepy!  I absolutely love being there for those first debut baby photos. They stay that tiny for such a short short time- I love being able to capture those gorgeous newborn moments before they grow out of them.  Can you believe this picture is of the funny happy boy running around China Camp?

Oh how I love China Camp. I love to get up early and go for a long hike alone on a random weekday morning and now I’m in love with it as my new favorite place for photo shoots. All those great old buildings are perfect shabby backgrounds for gorgeous little girls with porcelain skin and big beautiful eyes.
