A Day In the Life

Some of the most extraordinary photographs happen in the most ordinary every day circumstances.   Day in the life photo sessions are all about capturing the beautiful real life moments of childhood- making mud pies, bath time, story-time, and everything in-between.  This is an especially great option for families with one parent who tends to take most of the photos…. because you’re part of the family too, right?

We can schedule your Day In the Life session for whatever part of the day you like-  morning, afternoon, or evening.  Or, you can opt for my new Complete Day In The Life package and get the whole shebang!

The Complete Package includes three different shoots over the course of six months to capture all the goodness of  a day with your favorite little person.  For more details, please check out the Rates and Session Fees Section at the bottom of the page.

Hey There Baby

Newborn sessions are all about capturing the joy and excitement (and… well, possibly a meltdown here and there, but those are part of the experience too, right?)  of life with your brand new baby.  Part documentary style and part portrait session, baby shoots capture the all the glorious details- little fingers, lips, and toes- while also focusing on the rockabye lovity love interactions between your family and the newest member of your clan.

 

The Great Outdoors

Ahh… the San Francisco Bay Area.  I can’t think of a better place to be a photographer.  There are so many amazing locations for photo sessions around!  Outdoor photo sessions are great for little explorers and usually include a chase scene or two with me running as fast as I can to stay in front of your giggly sassy pants while doing my best not to run into innocent bystanders or trees.

We’ll meet on location for the photo shoot and get lots of great shots of your kids being their goofy funny little selves and of the entire family together.

Photo Session Fees

Session fees include 1-2 hour session, post-processing of your images (that’s the time consuming part!), and an online photo gallery.  Digital images and products are sold separately.

• Thursday & Friday Portrait Sessions- $200
• Saturday & Sunday Sessions- $240

TRAVEL FEES

There are lots of great locations for portrait sessions around the Bay Area and I’ll happily travel your way to make your session as easy as possible for you.  There are no travel fees for photo sessions in Marin.

For sessions outside of Marin, a fee of $1 a mile beyond San Rafael (94901 zip code) applies.

Want to avoid the travel fee? If you have a friend who lives close by who’s interested in a photo session and it’s possible to schedule both on the same day, I’ll waive the travel fee for both of you!

The Complete Day In The Life Package

This package was created especially for those of you who want to capture all the goodness of life with your kiddos, from pancakes in the morning to that last sleepy kiss as you tuck them in at night.

The Complete Day In The Life Package includes the following-

• Three full documentary style photo sessions within the span of a year.
• All of your edited images as high resolution digital files from each session (which will allow you to print as many as you like in whatever size floats your boat)
• A 20×10 storyboard collage with your favorite images
