It’s been way too long since I’ve posted any new photos here, so I’m excited to have these super cute photos of Fuller to show off. I know it may have seemed like I fell off the face of the planet for a little while there, but here’s the proof that I’m still alive and kicking and back to work. I was a little worried there for a second that it would be a while before I would be able to pick my camera up again (or anything else, for that matter). A few weeks ago my fiance and I (hey, I got engaged!) went snowboarding and I guess I was having a little too much fun and should have quit while I was ahead and still in tact. I was actually doing a pretty good job of not falling for most of the day, but I just had to catch that last lift up and I managed to fall on my right wrist so hard that I couldn’t pick up a cup without yelping like a crazy person for the next two weeks. But I’m happy to say that my arm has returned to its natural color (bye bye black and blue) and the yelping phase is completely over. Yay!
It was great to be taking photos again and I couldn’t have had a better subject to start with. Look at those baby cheeks! Don’t you just want to pinch them like your crazy Aunt Betty used to pinch yours? I’m so glad Fuller’s mom decided to go ahead and bring him into the studio. We had scheduled his photo session for next month, but she didn’t want to miss capturing his “babyness” in it’s full glory. Good thinking on her part! They change amazingly fast in that first year, so the sooner the better.
