Ok, so I’m starting to sound eerily like my mother lately. I mean, no offense, Mom. I love you, you know I do. But I didn’t expect to start sounding like a mother yet. I think you’re supposed to actually have kids before you start sounding like a mom, right? Guess not…..
I starting editing these photos of Dillon and when I looked at the ones of him running around, I immediately thought, “it seems like it was just yesterday that I took the photos of him taking his first steps,” (really, according to his mom, it was the first time he walked on his own). If I could count how many times my mother has said the phrase “it seems like it was just yesterday that….” then I would have a far superior grasp of arithmetic than I actually have.
So here he is, running around now. And below you’ll see his very concentrated effort not so long ago to get those legs moving in the right direction and on to freedom.
