I was really excited about getting to photographing the kids in their kimonos. Aren’t they adorable? Ah… it brought back nice memories of walking around my old neighborhood in the outskirts of Tokyo in the cool evening air and seeing people strolling along in their summer kimonos. Too bad that I’ve forgotten almost every word of the Japanese I learned there. Harrison treated me to a few sentences of Japanese and all I could do was smile and wish I knew what he was saying- lucky for me, he was nice and translated for me.
